Our hotel in Matrei is the perfect starting point for nature adventures in the Hohe Tauern National Park at any time of year. In culinary terms, we love variety as much as the reinterpretation of regional and seasonal products made from high-quality ingredients from the East Tyrol gourmet region. Our Nature SPA is a place for deep relaxation.
New Nature SPA
Our guests can look forward to a renovated and expanded Nature SPA from December 2024. Highlights include the heated outdoor pool, modern relaxation rooms with local natural materials and the first Deferegger Heilwasser brine bath. At around 600,000 years old, Deferegger healing water from East Tyrol is one of the oldest and most effective healing waters in the world.

The rooms are available from 15:00 on the day of arrival. On the day of departure we ask you to vacate the rooms by 11:00 am.

Pets
Taking your four-legged friend with you is possible on request to a limited extent - so please always inform us when making your reservation. We charge € 25 per day/pet (without food) and ask you to keep your pet on a lead at all times in the hotel. If you bring your pet with you for breakfast or dinner, we can reserve a table for you in our own parlour - pets are not allowed in the general hotel restaurant or the associated buffet area. Furthermore, pets are not allowed in the Nature SPA or on the sunbathing lawn, especially in the natural pond. However, pets are welcome in the hotel lobby and on the garden terrace.

Cancellation regulation
We recommend that you take out cancellation insurance under the following link: European Travel Insurance. There are no cancellation costs up to 7 days before arrival. After that we reserve the right to charge 80% of the amount. For bookings in the New Year's Eve week and carnival week there are no cancellation costs 14 days before arrival.
