High alpine Classics
- Großglockner (3.798 m) - day tour for very sporty mountaineers, otherwise with overnight stay at the "Adlersruhe".
- Großvenediger (3.657 m) - accessible from the Defereggerhaus or the Johannishütte, highest mountain in the Venediger group
- Dreiherrnspitze (3.499 m) - the provinces of Salzburg and Tyrol and the Autonomous Province of Bolzano (South Tyrol) meet on this summit
