When we hike, we're not out for speed - we enjoy it. And move in the fresh mountain air. We trudge across snow-covered meadows, admire frozen waterfalls and marvel at sculptures made from frozen bushes and trees.
Cross-country skiing

Those who prefer to be out and about "ungroomed" will be delighted by the high-altitude trail to the Matreier Tauernhaus, the trail network in Virgen/Prägraten or the circular trail in Kals am Großglockner. A trip to Defereggen Valley is also worthwhile for cross-country skiers.
